1. PaddockProof is a record-keeping and decision-support tool
PaddockProof is designed to assist farmers, agronomists, contractors and other agricultural users with activities including spray planning, chemical records, tank-mix calculations, application records, farm planning and the organisation of agricultural information.
PaddockProof does not replace the product label, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), APVMA permit, agronomic advice, professional judgement, chemical-user training or any legal or regulatory requirement.
2. Always verify chemical information before use
You are responsible for ensuring that every agricultural or veterinary chemical is selected, handled, mixed and applied correctly and lawfully.
Before purchasing, mixing or applying any chemical, you must independently check the current:
- APVMA-approved product label;
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS);
- applicable APVMA permit;
- application rate and method;
- crop, pest and use situation;
- withholding and re-entry periods;
- plant-back or grazing restrictions;
- tank-mix and compatibility requirements;
- weather and environmental restrictions;
- personal protective equipment requirements;
- applicable Commonwealth, State or Territory laws, licences and permits;
Where information displayed by PaddockProof differs from the current product label, SDS, permit or applicable law, the official label, SDS, permit and legal requirements take precedence.
3. Chemical calculations must be checked
PaddockProof may calculate or display chemical quantities, water rates, tank mixes, application rates, area calculations, specific gravity, product weights, withholding periods and other application information.
These calculations are provided as decision-support information only.
You must verify all calculations and source information before mixing or applying a chemical. PaddockProof must not be relied upon as the sole basis for determining the safe or lawful use of a chemical.
4. Artificial intelligence and automated information
Some PaddockProof features may use artificial intelligence, automated extraction, optical recognition, third-party databases or other automated systems to interpret labels, SDS documents, agronomist recommendations, spray plans, photographs or other information.
AI and automated systems can make mistakes, misunderstand information, omit important conditions or produce incomplete or outdated results.
AI-generated or automatically extracted information must therefore be treated as assistance only and not as authoritative chemical, agronomic, safety or legal advice.
You must independently verify any AI-generated recommendation, calculation, chemical information or extracted data before acting on it.
5. Prohibited and unsafe use
You must not use PaddockProof or its AI features to:
- intentionally use a chemical contrary to mandatory label directions or applicable law;
- generate instructions intended to bypass chemical restrictions, permits, withholding periods or safety requirements;
- falsify chemical application or compliance records;
- deliberately create unsafe chemical combinations or application instructions;
- use chemicals for unlawful purposes;
- misrepresent AI-generated information as professional agronomic advice;
- circumvent safety controls implemented within PaddockProof;
PaddockProof may restrict, block or suspend features or accounts where the platform detects suspected unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent or abusive use.
6. User responsibility
You remain responsible for decisions made using PaddockProof, including decisions concerning:
- chemical selection;
- application rates;
- tank mixes;
- spray timing;
- weather conditions;
- spray drift;
- residues;
- withholding periods;
- crop safety;
- livestock safety;
- environmental protection;
- worker safety;
- regulatory compliance;
Where you are uncertain about the appropriate use of a chemical, you should consult the current product label and SDS and obtain advice from an appropriately qualified agronomist, chemical adviser or relevant regulatory authority before proceeding.
7. Information accuracy and availability
PaddockProof takes reasonable steps to provide useful and accurate information; however, agricultural chemical labels, registrations, permits, SDS documents, regulations and manufacturer information may change.
PaddockProof does not warrant that all third-party, automatically extracted, AI-generated or externally sourced information will always be complete, accurate or current.
Users should always verify critical information against the original authoritative source.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaddockProof and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and service providers are not liable for loss, damage, crop injury, livestock injury, contamination, chemical residue issues, spray drift, environmental damage, personal injury, loss of production, loss of income, regulatory action or other consequences arising from:
- incorrect or inappropriate chemical use;
- failure to follow a product label, SDS, permit or applicable law;
- incorrect information entered by a user;
- reliance on AI-generated or automatically extracted information;
- reliance on third-party information;
- failure to independently verify calculations or chemical information;
- use of PaddockProof contrary to these Terms;
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, condition or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
9. Acceptance
By selecting the acknowledgement below, you confirm that:
I have read and agree to the PaddockProof Terms of Use. I understand that PaddockProof is a record-keeping and decision-support tool and does not replace product labels, SDS documents, permits, legislation or professional agronomic advice. I understand that chemical and AI-generated information must be independently verified before use, and I accept responsibility for ensuring that all chemical use is safe, appropriate and lawful.
